There are two short surveys, one about what you think is important to focus on in the long term, and one looking at specific places in Thornton Heath. To go back to survey 1 about your priorities and do this survey later, click here.
Each one will take 5 – 10 minutes to complete. You can answer as many questions as you would like. Please do not include information in your replies which may enable you to be identified personally, please read the privacy notice for more information.
The surveys are intended to prompt discussion, and gather thoughts from the community. The responses will be used to shape ideas for further discussion.

This is an opportunity for local people to discuss what ideas should be included in the plan.

Survey 2a: West

This section of Brigstock Road runs from Bensham Lane and Chipstead Avenue along to Bensham Manor Road. This area contains a number of important community spaces and street trees and is seen by many as an arrival point to Thornton Heath for people travelling from Thornton Heath Pond.
It includes the following landmarks:
A. Thornton Heath Library
B. Trumble Gardens, including the tennis courts and the children’s play area
C. Norbury Brook, the view of which is currently blocked from the road by a wall
D. Sakthy Ganapathy Temple
E. Brigstock House
Survey 2b: Central

This section of Brigstock Road and the High Street runs from Bensham Manor Road to Gillett Road and The Drive. This area contains the train Station and the Clock Tower, most of the taller and denser buildings in Thornton Heath, and the two largest supermarkets as well as a busy road junction. The area between Ambassador House and the Clocktower is often described as the centre of Thornton Heath.
It includes the following landmarks:
A. Iceland and Station forecourt
B. Ambassador House
C. Tesco
D. Clocktower
E. Leisure centre
F. Garnet Road car park and alley
G. Job Centre, and the green space in front of this
Survey 2c: East

This section of the High Street runs from Gillett Road and The Drive to the Whitehorse Lane roundabout. This part of the map contains the busiest part of the High Street alongside important community spaces. The planter and sign at Whitehorse Lane roundabout marks the arrival point to Thornton Heath High street for people arriving from the South Norwood, Selhurst, or Addsicombe.
It includes the following landmarks:

B. High Street shops
C. Whitehorse Lane Roundabout
D. St. Alban the Martyr Church
E. CALAT, the Croydon Adult Learning And Training centre at Strand House
